Pictured is a custom designed walk-in closet that we added to the master bedroom of an apartment in Greenwich village. The design of this walk-in closet was based on the client’s preferences. We incorporated double and full hanging sections, shoe shelves, two jewelry drawers, a hamper, a full length mirror and adjustable shelves.
Designing a home workstation can be overwhelming but there are three main factors that need to be considered. First account for all of the items that will be stored and/or displayed. Second select the space where the work station will be placed and determine its size based on the items that will be housed as well as the location. Third consider the style and design that will be achieved.
For this project the client wanted an elegant open unit where she could display books and accessories. We created an open work station with two floating shelves, a floating desk with leather top with three drawers and task lighting.
